I didn't care for the middle section of the game (where you return to Darion) since it mostly felt like filler, and you lose all your troops. Your mileage may vary.Īs for the game itself, Warriors of the North has some of the best music in the franchise (imo) and some really cool mechanics like runes and the new viking troops. That's why I personally prefer the base version. One major difference is that in Ice and Fire, you don't get your pegasus until MUCH later in the game. I remember reading a lot of people talking about Ice and Fire bugs on 1C's official forum. For me, the Ice and Fire version crashed a lot more than the base version, but idk if that's how it is for everyone. ![]()
